Cookie policy
Last updated: 2026-07-02
This cookie policy explains how Engii-Soft A/S uses cookies and similar technologies on our public website. It should be read together with our privacy policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make the site work, remember your choices and — if you consent — for statistics and marketing. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and pixels; we refer to all of them as “cookies” here.
Legal basis
Necessary cookies are set without consent because they are strictly necessary to deliver the service you request (Danish Cookie Order § 3(2)). All other cookies are set only after you have given your explicit consent, under the Danish Cookie Order and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 6(1)(a). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Which cookies do we use?
| Category | Purpose | Examples / vendors | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Makes the site work: security, networking, language choice and remembering your cookie choice. Set without consent. | Session cookies, your recorded cookie choice (localStorage) | Session – 6 months |
| Functional | Remembers your preferences, such as language and theme, so you don't have to choose again. | Preference cookies | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Gives us pseudonymised, aggregated insight into how the site is used so we can improve it. | Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _gid) | Up to 24 months |
| Marketing | Measures the effect of our advertising and lets us show you relevant ads on third-party platforms. | LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel (_fbp) | Up to 12 months |
How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page, where you can turn each category on or off. You can also delete and block cookies in your browser settings. Note that the site may work less well if you block necessary cookies.
Transfers to third countries
Some of our analytics and marketing cookie vendors (including Google, LinkedIn/Microsoft and Meta) may process data in the USA. These transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which the vendors are certified, and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy. For material changes — such as new categories or vendors — we will ask for your consent again. The date of the latest update is shown at the top.
